Why we build this way

Most apps need you to come back, because that is how they get paid. Ours don't. You pay once, and then we are finished selling to you.

That one difference is what lets us leave things out. No account, because there is nothing to sync. No analytics, because we are not optimizing you. No ads, because you already paid. It is not restraint on our part — there is simply nothing left for those things to do.

NFN Miles requests zero Android permissions. Not location, not internet, not one. Open its permission list in Android settings and you will find it empty. That is not a promise we wrote down. It is what the app is.
